Oncology Talent Partners was born from a story that none of its founders chose — but that changed them forever.
Jim Lucier is a staffing industry leader. Ashley Wyse is an oncology nurse practitioner. Their paths crossed when Jim's son Hunter was diagnosed with metastatic testicular cancer. Ashley was part of his care team. A bond formed between them—forged through hope, hard days, and Hunter.
Hunter died exactly one year after his diagnosis. He was 27. Five years later, Ashley faced cancer herself. As a breast cancer survivor, she now carries the experience of this disease both as a provider and a patient. Recently, Jim and Ashley walked alongside close family members facing cancer again.
Together, Jim and Ashley are committed to strengthening the standard of cancer care for every program, provider, and patient.
Meet Our Founders
James Lucier
Jim is a recognized staffing industry leader, trusted authority on workforce inclusion, and passionate advocate for healthcare equity. Recent honors include National Executive of the Year & Leader of Distinction (HRO Today), DEI Influencer (SIA), and Nonprofit Thought Leader of the Year (ABA).
As our Managing Partner, Jim leads our firm's go-to-market strategy, building client-driven growth.
Ashley Wyse
Ashley is a cancer survivor and frontline hero with extensive clinical experience providing exceptional cancer care. She graduated from Union University with a Master of Science in Nursing and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
As our Medical Director, Ashley leads Clinical, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance programs.

Soon after winning the UPSL Pro Premier National Championship as AGM for the Florida Tropics, Hunter was diagnosed with metastatic testicular cancer. He courageously fought a year-long battle with the heart of a champion, providing the inspiration for our work.
The Jameson Hunter Lucier Memorial Fund provided the seed capital for Oncology Talent Partners.
